With a tear capacity of over 450kgs, the ABYSS is built tough, because it needs to be! The Abyss float has 60kg of lift at 20m depth and can hold up to 3.0 Atmosphere when submersed, making it perfect for monsters of the abyss.
Used with the Hunt Master TUNA TAMER Floatline and Hunt Master Floatline Bungee, the ABYSS is designed to put the anchors on even the biggest fish such as tuna or even the mighty marlin.
Additional D-Rings:
Packing a total of FIVE large, marine-grade, 6mm steel D-Rings individually attached with double-layered, reinforced PVC layers and marine-grade glue, spearos or freedivers can choose how they wish to connect to these large floats - and be confident of secure connections. At a whopping 50mm width at the float body, the wide rings make fast connections/disconnections a breeze, reducing the need for removing gloves for technical work.
Additionally, if a big-game spearfisher chooses to lock-off a floatline to one of the front offset D-Rings instead of the front D-Ring, the hydrodynamic design of the ABYSS is totally negated, offering extra drag to large fish that run.
Unique High Viz Colours:
Coming in several high-visibility colours, the ABYSS float can be mixed and matched with the full range of Huntsman and Huntress wetsuits, rashguards, Harbinger camo masks, snorkels and Huntmaster floatlines.
Even the unique purple floats and floatlines can pair up nicely with the Blue Huntsman or Pink Huntress wetsuit, with slight shades of purple throughout the Harbinger Blue and Pink Camo.
As with all dive floats, the colours are designed to stand out on the water, a crucial feature for safety, ensuring divers are seen by other boats and fellow divers.
Design:
Hunt Master has worked extensively with engineers and passionate spearos to provide the ultimate spearfishing float design, carefully crafting them with the following design features;
- All Hunt Master floats are made using 0.9mm PVC, making them virtually puncture-proof and incredibly abrasion-resistant - protecting the float from damage from fish, spear tips, knives, rocks, coral and other sharp objects.
- Our floats are aerodynamically engineered and handcrafted, with an internal and external structural design that lessens drag in the water. This new technology ensures maximum comfort for the spearo or freediver, reducing exertion from dragging heavy floats and improving overall dive time.
- The ABYSS features three heavy-duty PVC handles (one on each side and one at the rear), designed with strength and durability in mind, giving spearos and freedivers the assurance that they won’t fail under extreme pressure when game fish take your spear gun and float. The handles are wide and sturdy, making great rest points to regain breath or prepare equipment.

Unlike many other spearfishing floats, Hunt Master float designs are innovatively shaped and weighted for constant water contact. Our floats do not require additional lead weights to be added for the flag to remain upright, and will remain upright in all but the most ferocious of conditions.

Unlike many inflatable floats where you may need to purchase extra equipment, each and every premium-quality Hunt Master PVC float comes with the following items, ensuring that you have everything you need in your purchase;
- Heavy-duty, super smooth, high-volume RIB hand pump (valued at $79);
- High visibility blue and white Dive Flag, with 25cm detachable flexible flag pole;
- Secure rubber flag holder at the rear of the float;
- Puncture Repair Kit featuring spare patches and glue in a waterproof carry tube;
- Valve wrench.
