GLOVES AND SOCKS
Huntmaster gloves and socks serve various purposes and the most important one is keeping warm. The key thing for a diver to remember is that, heat escapes from your head, hands and feet. These three parts must be the warmest part of the diving outfit and keep this in consideration when purchasing the right thickness.
The following suggestions of diving socks and glove thicknesses include:
- 1.5-3mm for warmer and more tropical waters including the Coral Sea and Great Barrier Reef
- 3.5mm-5mm for colder waters like Sydney and Jervis bay
