Hunt Master continues to show true innovation for spearos with the introduction of our TUFF Diving Gloves, giving spearfishers and freedivers the choice of thin, form-fitting gloves that are cut-resistant and extra-grippy!
The low-profile TUFF diving gloves use Dyneema fibres in their construction, a material that is 15 times stronger than steel line per unit of weight, making them one of the strongest gloves in the diving industry and perfect for the many rigours of spearfishing!
Available in all-black or black and red, check out their amazing features below...

Low-Profile
Often dive gloves are made from neoprene, which for spearfishers is cumbersome as it is thick and removes most of the feeling from the hands and fingertips, making simple jobs trickier. In fact, most spearos know that when reloading or manipulating shark clips, adjusting masks etc they have to remove their gloves to get the job done efficiently.
TUFF gloves are not only super-strong but they are thinner and form-fitting, meaning the wearer can keep them on for all but the most fiddly of tasks.
Anti-Cut Protection:
TUFF diving gloves have a Level A5 ANSI/ISEA 105 cut-resistant capacity making them extremely safe for handling crayfish, abalone and pelagic fish with sharp spines, gills and teeth, plus of course resisting abrasion and cuts from rocks and sharp coral - cuts that any diver knows can become infected.
[Level A5 denotes resistance to cutting pressure from 2200 - 2999 grams - meaning you will need over three kilograms of pressure on a sharp knife blade before the material will cut!]
In experiments here at Hunt Master HQ, this glove has proven to be resistant to purposeful cuts with sharp filleting knives, giving you confidence that these amazing gloves perform to standard, giving you peace of mind on dives.
Anti-Slip Palm:
The palms of the TUFF gloves feature a marine-grade coating of high-tech, black, 'rough' Sandy Nitrile over the Dyneema knit, giving amazing gripping capacity when holding slippery fish. This incredible coating is rubbery in texture and is both highly flexible and crack-resistant.
Extreme Comfort:
The gloves are knitted, cut and stitched to ensure optimum comfort and flexibility when being used both above and below the water. The 13 gauge HPPE knitted system (stitches per square inch) - as used on many worksafe industrial gloves - adds further safety for the diver, ensuring additional anti-cut protection. This innovative system allows for maximum freedom of movement while still offering durability and maximum protection to the hands and fingers.
Additionally, the gloves have high, elasticated wrists for comfort, keeping the gloves from slipping down when in use. These can go over or under wetsuit cuffs.
Great for filleting fish:
Finally, these gloves also make extremely good filleting gloves. The non-slip palm, cut-proof material and low profile makes holding onto your fish and applying precise cuts a breeze...
NOTE: TUFF gloves do not feature neoprene nor do they keep the hands dry, so divers in very cold waters will be advised that they lack any significant thermal properties, especially over longer dives.
